Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Web Developer to support the development and maintenance of digital banking applications within the Retail Banking domain. The role involves working on both front-end and back-end components, contributing to secure, scalable, and high-performance digital banking platforms while collaborating within an Agile delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and maintain web-based digital banking applications (Front-End & Back-End).
Implement UI components using React JS, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
Develop server-side logic using J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Camel (CXF), and Spring Batch.
Work with Oracle databases, writing and optimizing SQL queries.
Deploy and support applications on WebLogic Portal and related middleware.
Perform basic Unix/Linux scripting for application support and automation.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Support DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipelines, builds, and deployments.
Assist in application monitoring, issue analysis, and bug fixing.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and management reports.
Ensure compliance with banking security and quality standards.
Required Skills
03 years of experience in web application development.
Strong fundamentals in J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, SQL, and Spring Framework.
Experience with React JS for front-end development.
Hands-on experience with Oracle databases.
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments (HPUX, Linux, Solaris).
Understanding of Agile development practices.
Basic exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD processes.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with React Native.
Exposure to TeamSite (LSCS, LSDS).
Knowledge of banking or financial services systems.
Experience with management reporting or operational dashboards.
Understanding of secure coding practices in banking environments.
