JVA Consultant

Purpose of this Role:

• The JVA Consultant role is designed to provide strong SAP systems expertise to the SAP Joint Venture process to support the delivery of the business process transformation activities for the particular business process area they are representing
• The JVA Consultant role is responsible for supporting the Functional team planning and management activities and design, development, testing and deployment of all system related process changes identified by the Program
• This role will work closely with the Process Stream Leads and SMEs to understand the business requirements and translate these into systems functionality
• The JVA Consultant role is also responsible for providing support to other functional workstreams, data conversion, training and communications and security activities

Key Tasks:

• Support Process Stream Lead to lead the functional teams on a day to day basis
• Conduct detailed planning for Functional Finance team
• Provide functional teams direction around tools and methodologies
• Identify business process scope and requirements
• Provide detailed subject matter expertise in SAP JVA, FI/CO and PSA area
• Clarify systems implications of business transformation opportunities
• Develop detailed process design and participate in process design workshops and process modelling
• Work collaboratively with other Program workstreams to ensure a successful integrated solution is delivered
• Participate in the Build and Testing activities within the process workstream
• Support data cleansing and conversion activities
• Support and execute communications and stakeholder engagement activities
• Support training development and delivery
• Support security development activities
• Support deployment planning and execution activities
• Proactively manage project issues and risks
• Conduct team work planning for the functional workstream
• Complete workstream deliverables on schedule and within budget
• Support program reporting as required
• Support delivery of identified benefits for process area from Business Case

Required Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Strong understanding of nominated functional area
• Strong system analysis and design skills
• Strong SAP JVA configuration and testing skills
• Strong communication skills, and ability to build and maintain effective relationships
