Position: Executive or Senior Executive

Job Scope & Responsibilities:

1. Perform product development process from conceptualization, preparation of documentation for submission, and market packaging of the new fund.

2. Prepare product term sheet for a new fund and other documentation for the existing funds to seek the internal management and board's endorsements/approval.

3. Conduct market research and peer analysis to identify gaps in the product suite and emerging investment trends.

4. Prepare reporting to the board and internal stakeholders of any updates on existing products, documentation, and development.

5. Prepare any documentation for the renewal of the master prospectus/information memorandum for the current existing funds and existing lifecycle maintenance, including conducting meetings of unit holders.

6. Prepare and issue documentation such as deed, supplemental deed, supplementary master prospectus/replacement master prospectus, and replacement information memorandum/supplementary information memorandum.

7. Prepare and carry out due diligence regarding products and services for the relevant authorities, distributors, compliance department, external lawyers, and other parties.

8. Communicate with relevant stakeholders and other parties regarding products and documentations

8. Preparation and maintaining website content management regarding funds under management.

9. Perform and coordinate ad hoc projects as and when required.

10. Ensure compliance with the relevant acts, laws, directives and guidelines issued by the relevant authorities and the company's internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Investment, Business Administration, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.

Experience:

Executive: Minimum 12 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in asset management or the unit trusts industry.

Senior Executive: 35 years of relevant experience in asset management or the unit trusts industry.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong familiarity with the requirements and regulatory framework of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (CMSA), Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM), Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).

Understanding of various asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Money Market, Deposit) and Shariah-compliant investment structures.

Skills:

Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and verbal).

Meticulous attention to detail (essential for regulatory documentation).

Possess good communication and presentation skills.

Experience in law or a background in legal documentation is an added advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
