Your opportunity

We are currently seeking a R2R Accountant Intercompany who will report to the Manager R2R Intercompany as part of our dynamic team in Malaysia. As part of the Kering Group's global finance SSC transformation program, the R2R Accountant Intercompany will support for intercompany accounting and controlling processes for Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Macau, Australia and New Zealand.

How you will contribute

  • Perform intercompany transactions including issuance/recording of billing, debit notes, credit notes, and invoices.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing and reporting activities such as intercompany confirmation, reconciliation, and income/expense accruals.
  • Provide audit support on queries and requests relating to intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure that all intercompany transactions are processed in accordance with the agreed processes and timeline and comply with applicable accounting standards.
  • Escalate identified or potential gaps to improve daily operations, month-end, and year-end closing and reporting activities SLA.
  • Support SSC's objective of becoming 100% paperless (re-designing controls, practices and processes).
  • Participate and support the Manager on process-improvement projects.
  • Any other ad-hoc assignments, from time to time.

Who you are

Technical skills and experiences:

  • Accounting/ Finance Major with CA qualification.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience with a public accounting firm (Candidates from Big 4 are highly preferred).
  • SAP knowledge is preferred.
