We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and strategic Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

General Ledger Management

  • Oversee daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Maintain and review general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness.

Audit, Tax, & Compliance

  • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Maintain documentation to support financial transactions and audit trails.

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting systems and processes.
  • Assist in automation and digitization initiatives within the finance function.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Trade Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, HR, and Legal.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum 57 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
