Position Summary
The Key Account Executive - Modern Trade (Central) is responsible for the execution of sales and marketing plans in the assigned geography, product line, market segment, or list of customer accounts according to company sales policy.
You will play an important role to:
1) Sales Plan Execution
- Visit existing customers and prospects by following the assigned route plan and outlet call procedures.
- Respond to customers inquiries.
- Execute promotional plans and product listings.
- Sell in assigned promotions and propose customize promotional activities.
- Prepare strong selling stories based on inputs from Marketing, Category Marketing and Key Account teams to influence business improvements with all customers.
- Monitor and report on post-execution to ensure objectives are met.
2) Customer Relationship Building
- Maintain and retain long-term customer relationships with established customers.
- Interact in a timely and satisfactory manner with all customers.
3) Merchandising
- Maximize merchandising and shelf presence, securing secondary display as required and ensuring planograms are adhered to with the right stock weights.
- Support all merchandising efforts by identification of display locations, liaison with product consultants and merchandisers, and helping with block display or merchandising efforts.
4) Collection
- Ensure collection and aging are up to date for the assigned accounts.
5) Product & Market Knowledge
- Apply detailed product knowledge and thorough knowledge of customers business and processes.
- Build market knowledge continuously and refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to the company.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Customer Relationship Management, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related field. The equivalent of this in working experience is also acceptable for this position
- At least 2 years of working experience in Sales & Marketing roles in the International Key Accounts (IKA)
- At least 2 years of working exposure in the FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
