Job Description

THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED IN MUTIARA DAMANSARA, PETALING JAYA, SELANGOR

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) Internal :

  • Product Portfolio Management at SBU.
  • Communication and Coordination (Internal Coordination, alignment, engagement, and collaboration with internal stakeholders) to ensure Key Customer's needs are met.
  • Pricing Management (Account B).
  • Problem-solving within KLK Oleo.
  • Administration and supervising the Account Teams assigned to each Key Account.
  • Compiling and preparing reports on account progress, goals, customers update, business overviews, and strategies for stakeholders.

(B) External :

  • Develop and maintain trust relationships with a portfolio of Key Account Customers.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • Serve as the interface of communication between key customers and internal teams (and group-level discussion).
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Play an integral part in generating new business via joint product development, and collaborative engagement for new ventures (i.e. products &investment) that will turn into long-term sustainable relationships
  • Maintains updated sales funnel.
  • Negotiate general sales tasks and perform sale reviews (Account B).

JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree holder in Engineering Field, Chemistry, or BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field) with a minimum of 5 years of related working experience( preferably in chemicals-related industries).
  • Experience in Key Account Management is an added advantage (not a must).
  • Experience in matrix organization, cross-functional, customer liaison, sales, and providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills and reliability.
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
  • Good track record of responsibility, resourceful, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software.
