Key Account Manager – Modern Trade (Fresh Produce)

Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for FMCG, retail partnerships, and business growth We are looking for a commercially driven Key Account Manager – Modern Trade to manage key retail accounts, develop new business opportunities, and drive sales growth within the fresh produce industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and strengthen relationships with supermarkets, hypermarkets, and other Modern Trade customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer portfolio.
• Negotiate pricing, promotional activities, trading terms, and product listings with key retail buyers.
• Develop account plans and sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability, timely deliveries, freshness, and customer satisfaction.
• Track sales forecasts, account performance, and promotional effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to improve product visibility, sales volume, and profitability across retail accounts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, key account management, or business development.
• Experience in Modern Trade, FMCG, food distribution, or fresh produce is highly advantageous.
• Strong relationship management, negotiation, presentation, and commercial skills.
• Proven ability to manage customer accounts, achieve sales targets, and develop new business.
• Good understanding of retail promotions, pricing strategies, and product listing processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits when required.
