Job Description
Position: Key Account Manager - Payments & Financial Services
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Industry: Financial Services
Employment Type: 12 months contract with PERSOL
Salary: RM15,000 – RM19,000 (based on qualifications & experience)
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key financial institutions and strategic clients
- Support account planning, commercial initiatives, and business growth strategies
- Identify opportunities across: Consumer Payments, Commercial & Money Movement Solutions, Value-Added Services, Data & Risk Solutions, Loyalty & Marketing Solutions & Payment Acceptance Solutions
- Prepare business cases, commercial proposals, and performance analyses
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Marketing, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Client Services teams
- Support contract management, incentive tracking, and commercial execution
- Deliver client presentations, business reviews, and strategic recommendations
- Monitor account performance and identify growth opportunities within the payments ecosystem
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, Marketing, or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of experience in: account management, sales, business development, consulting, banking, financial services, or payments
- Experience within banking, cards, acquiring, issuing, fintech, payment gateway, digital payments, or financial institutions is highly preferred
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Masters/ Post Graduate, Bachelors/ Degree
