Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for multiple client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic discussions and issue resolution.
- Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance, support, and ensuring adherence to project management best practices and scheme methodologies.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-level project reports, proposals, and recommendations to clients and senior management, communicating progress, risks, and strategic insights.
- Collaborate with internal leadership to align project objectives with overall business strategy and contribute to the development of new service offerings and business development initiatives.
- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of company management processes, tools, and templates across the organization.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across project teams and internal departments.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance, ensuring company remains within allocated resources and providing regular financial updates.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Project Management or senior leadership.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in any field; a Master's degree in a related field
- At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in project management and consultancy, with a demonstrable track record of successfully managing schemes, high-value client projects.
- Proven experience in leading and managing project teams, including direct reports and cross-functional teams.
- Extensive experience in developing and delivering presentations, reports, and proposals to senior-level stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate complex project risks and issues.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Experience in handling major and global clients will be an added advantage.
