As the Key Account Sales Executive, you will play an important role in expanding Motul's automotive lubricants business across your assigned region in Malaysia. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with distributors, workshops and retail partners.
Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, you will identify opportunities to expand market coverage, strengthen the distributor network and grow Motul's presence within the automotive aftermarket.
We are currently hiring for positions to support our operations across the Northern, Central and Southern regions of Malaysia.
The appointment level (Executive or Senior Executive) will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Manage and develop relationships with distributors, workshops and key retail accounts within the assigned territory
- Drive sales growth by expanding Motul's product presence and distribution coverage in the automotive aftermarket
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and network expansion
- Strengthening and optimising the existing distributor and dealer network
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance, gather market intelligence and identify growth opportunities
- Work closely with the marketing team to support local promotions, campaigns and brand activities within the territory
- Provide product knowledge and basic technical guidance to customers and partners when required
- Address customer queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market trends within the territory
- Prepare regular sales updates, reports and forecasts for management review
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing or related discipline
- Experience in the automotive lubricants industry or distributor network will be an advantage
- Strong sales drive with the ability to develop new accounts and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a territory-based sales role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Willing to travel extensively within the assigned region in Malaysia
