Your Role in VT Markets
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven KOL Manager to drive retail client conversion through influencer partnerships and creator-led content initiatives. You will be reporting to the Senior Brand Manager and responsible for identifying, onboarding, managing, and optimising relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), content creators, and trading influencers across priority markets. Your core focus will be to drive quality traffic, increase funded account conversions, and grow active trading clients through trusted influencer channels. This role blends performance marketing, relationship management, and creator strategy in a high-growth trading environment.
Your responsibilities will include
KOL Acquisition & Management
- Identify, recruit, and onboard relevant trading/finance/lifestyle KOLs across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, Twitter, etc.).
- Negotiate and manage contracts, performance metrics, and deliverables for influencer campaigns.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with top-performing KOLs to drive consistent conversion and brand alignment.
Conversion-Focused Campaigns
- Design and manage KOL-driven campaigns aimed at converting leads into funded and active trading clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored landing pages, referral codes, educational content, or promotions that support conversion goals.
- Track campaign performance, optimise creatives/messaging, and iterate based on ROI and cost-per-funded-account benchmarks.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor and report on key KPIs: conversion rate (sign-up to FTD), cost per acquisition (CPA), influencer ROI, and audience quality.
- Use analytics tools and CRM data to segment high-performing KOLs and inform future budget allocation or strategy.
- Ensure compliance with marketing and regulatory requirements in content and campaign execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the digital, content, CRM, and product marketing teams to ensure integrated and consistent campaign execution.
- Coordinate with local community teams to identify grassroots influencers and micro-KOLs.
- Provide market and KOL insights to support broader acquisition and engagement strategies.
What Success Looks Like
- Increasing funded accounts and active traders through effective KOL campaigns, demonstrating clear ROI.
- Building and managing a high-quality, diverse portfolio of KOLs that significantly expands brand reach and aligns with target audiences.
- Meticulously adhering to all regulatory and internal guidelines for KOL content and activities, protecting VT Markets reputation.
- Utilizing analytics to optimize performance and working seamlessly with internal teams to integrate KOL initiatives into broader marketing strategies.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications/Business or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in influencer marketing, partnerships, or KOL managementpreferably in fintech, trading, crypto or e-commerce.
- Proven track record of using KOLs to drive performance metrics such as account sign-ups, funding, or conversions.
- Strong understanding of trading platforms, retail investor behaviour, and financial content trends.
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Familiarity with influencer tracking platforms (e.g., Grin, Upfluence, CreatorIQ) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, etc.).
Soft Skills:
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Chinese, Malay, Thai, Arabic) are a plus depending on market focus.
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of performance-based influencer marketing.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, KPI-driven environments.
- Strategic thinker with creative instincts and high attention to detail.
- Experience in regulated industries and awareness of marketing compliance is a plus.
