About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Local Partnerships Acquisition Lead to spearhead the recruitment and onboarding of high-potential live streaming hosts in Malaysia. This role is critical to expanding our live streaming ecosystem, ensuring a diverse and engaging talent pool aligned with platform growth goals. You will design localized recruitment strategies, build partnerships, and drive data-driven decisions to attract top-tier hosts across niches (e.g., gaming, lifestyle, e-commerce).
Key Responsibilities Talent Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement hyper-localized recruitment campaigns targeting Malaysian creators, leveraging platforms like TikTok and Facebook Gaming.
- Identify emerging talent trends (e.g., Ramadan-themed content, multilingual hosts) and adapt sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to align host profiles with platform KPIs (e.g., audience retention, GMV for e-commerce streams).
Partnership & Community Building
- Establish partnerships with local MCNs, universities, and influencer networks to build a sustainable talent pipeline.
- Organize virtual/in-person recruitment events (e.g., Creator Bootcamps) to engage potential hosts.Candidate Screening & Onboarding Conduct end-to-end recruitment: resume screening, live auditions, and contract negotiations.
- Design onboarding programs tailored to Malaysian hosts, including cultural sensitivity training and platform SOPs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network with Malaysian creators, agencies, or fan communities.Knowledge of Shariah-compliant content regulations.Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, capable of efficiently managing relationships with live-streamers and handling disputes.
- Possess data analysis capabilities and be proficient in using Excel tools to optimize recruitment strategies.
- 3+ years in talent acquisition, preferably in entertainment, live streaming, or digital media.
- Proven success in recruiting freelance/contract talent in Malaysia.
- Fluency in Malay and Chinese proficiency is a must.
- Deep understanding of Malaysian youth culture and live streaming trends.
