What can you expect
As an ITS Intern at KPMG Malaysia, you will gain real-world exposure in resolving technical issues, supporting large‑scale deployments, and assisting with key IT operations that keep the firm running efficiently. You will have the opportunity to:
Technical Exposure & Responsibilities
- Participate in IT deployment projects and, where required, lead smaller deployments under guidance.
- Support project managers or workstream leads in meeting project KPIs and timelines.
- Provide day‑to‑day technical support to internal users on hardware and software issues, including virus incidents, application failures, OS issues, and troubleshooting needs.
- Assist with the deployment of KPMG standard images, applications, and software across devices.
- Report and follow up on hardware incidents with vendors to ensure timely resolution.
- Support the maintenance of IT peripherals such as printers, switches, and related network equipment.
- Help maintain the firm's asset management database to ensure accurate and updated inventory records.

Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking motivated, proactive interns who are passionate about building their careers in Information Technology.
- Currently pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Experienced Diploma holders or candidates with MCSE or CCNA qualifications are also welcome.
- Fresh graduates with strong IT interest are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of LAN infrastructure, system implementations, or troubleshooting is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Independent, motivated, organized, and able to multitask under deadlines.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
