KPMG's Project Management Office (ITET-PMO) services, housed within the Technology Consulting team, partner with clients to deliver technology solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes. We focus on aligning digital initiatives with strategic and operational priorities, ensuring that technology investments support long‑term value creation. Our work encompasses project management, digital and IT strategy development, as well as advisory services across emerging technologies, infrastructure modernization and process transformation.
As part of the team, you will support a diverse portfolio of project management and strategy engagements, applying established KPMG methodologies, tools and best practices. You will contribute to multiple client projects, collaborate with a dynamic and multidisciplinary team and play a key role in strengthening our delivery capabilities and expanding our service portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Manager/Assistant Manager
- Manage and deliver diverse project management and strategy engagements.
- Drive team capability development and contribute to the expansion of the service portfolio.
- Support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and client engagement activities.
Senior Associate
- Support project and advisory delivery across IT‑enabled and transformation initiatives.
- Assist with project execution through coordination, analysis, documentation and reporting.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to project leads and Managers on engagement deliverables.
- Contribute ideas and knowledge to strengthen team capabilities and service offerings.
- Support business development activities, including proposals, research and pitch materials.

Manager/Assistant Manager
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, including clear and effective communication across varying stakeholder levels.
- Strong project leadership capabilities, with the ability to apply best‑practice methodologies, frameworks and tools to achieve consistent, high‑quality outcomes.
Senior Associate
- Skilled in stakeholder management across business and IT teams.
- Strong grasp of project management fundamentals and best practices.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the project team.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
Implementation Delivery Advisory:
Manager/Assistant Manager
- Oversee IT project management activities and define effective project implementation strategies.
- Monitor risks, issues and dependencies that may impact project timelines, escalating unresolved items with actionable recommendations.
- Lead or manage the PMO team and maintain oversight of vendor relationships to ensure delivery alignment and performance.
- Coordinate interdependencies across business analysts, technical teams, deployment teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
Senior Associate
- Support PMO operations and governance, including planning, reporting and meeting coordination.
- Maintain and update project artefacts (project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, status reports).
- Monitor risks and issues that may impact timelines and deliverables.
Strategy Advisory:
Manager/Assistant Manager
- Facilitate requirements gathering and develop implementation strategies informed by stakeholder interviews, research, and technology insights.
- Identify opportunities for improvement to help clients achieve their strategic and operational goals.
- Lead discussions, conduct workshops, and provide advisory support throughout all phases of client engagements.
Senior Associate
- Support requirements gathering through interviews, workshops and document reviews.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform implementation plans and recommendations.
- Assist in identifying improvement opportunities aligned with client objectives.
- Participate in client meetings and workshops, providing structured inputs and documentation support.
Requirements:
- Strong background in technology and IT, with experience supporting or delivering technology‑driven initiatives.
- ACCA qualification or experience with financial systems is highly valued. Candidates with these credentials who are interested in advisory roles are encouraged to apply.
- Experience Requirements: 3-6 years (Senior Associate)/6-8 years (Assistant Manager)/8-10 years (Manager) of experience in IT or related fields.
- Proven track record in managing or contributing to large‑scale IT solution implementations.
- Self‑motivated, proactive and able to think critically to solve complex problems.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
