Lead and oversee day-to-day payment operations, ensuring operational stability, service quality and timely issue resolution.
Drive operational KPIs and identify opportunities to improve payment success, efficiency, cost and customer experience.
Manage payment incidents, conduct root-cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Data and Technology teams to translate operational requirements into scalable solutions.
Establish and improve operational controls, processes and governance.
Coach and develop team members, building a strong culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Translate business and operational problems into clear initiatives and actionable solutions.
Lead initiatives from problem identification and business case development through implementation and post-launch optimisation.
Proactively identify operational risks and opportunities rather than relying solely on existing processes.
Represent Payment Operations in cross-functional strategic discussions and projects.
Identify repetitive, manual and high-effort operational processes that can be improved through automation or AI.
Drive the adoption of AI tools and automation across Payment Operations.
Develop and implement solutions such as AI-assisted investigation, automated reconciliation, anomaly detection, operational reporting and workflow automation.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Data and Technology teams to translate operational requirements into scalable solutions.
Continuously experiment with emerging AI capabilities and assess their practical application to payment operations.
Measure the impact of automation initiatives through productivity gains, cost savings, accuracy improvements and reduction in manual workload.

Requirements:

2 to 5 years of working experience.
Added experience in the e-commerce, payments, or digital wallet industry is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant fields.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) SQL experience is a plus.
Good communication skills in both written and verbal (email, face-to-face, and remote discussions).
High attention to detail with strong logical and critical thinking skills for problem-solving.
Proactive, collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
