Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Application Maintenance / Production Support Engineer (L3) to support core banking applications, specifically within the Silverlake Customer (BWC) platform. The role involves maintaining system stability, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting deployment and automation processes in an AS400 environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L3 production support for core banking applications, ensuring system availability and reliability
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production incidents and defects
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
  • Support and maintain Silverlake Customer (BWC) applications, including Bankwide CIF Customer File
  • Manage and support deployment processes using ALDON on AS400 systems
  • Collaborate with L1/L2 support teams and development teams for issue resolution
  • Participate in DevOps activities, including automation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor system performance and ensure timely escalation of critical issues
  • Maintain documentation for incidents, fixes, and operational procedures

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in application support (preferably L2/L3 support)
  • Strong knowledge of AS400 (IBM i) environment
  • Experience with DB2 database and AS400 operating system
  • Proficiency in RPG programming language
  • Hands-on experience with Silverlake core banking system, especially BWC (Customer module)
  • Familiarity with ALDON for software deployment and release management
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production support environment

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to DevOps practices and automation tools
  • Experience in banking or financial services domain
