Laboratory Assistant

About the role

As a Laboratory Assistant, you'll sit at the heart of our product development, running experiments and supporting the formulations that our customers rely on.

What you'll do

• Conduct structured laboratory experiments that drive process improvement, product development and formulation changes
• Translate customer requirements into precisely prepared samples, in close partnership with our Marketing team
• Safeguard product identification and traceability across every stage of development
• Maintain laboratory equipment through preventive maintenance and verification, ensuring reliable, repeatable results
• Contribute to the effectiveness of our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems and to regulatory compliance

Are you the right fit

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's degree
• Education in STEM
• Knowledge in QA/QC systems, inspection methods, and quality standards
• Familiar with laboratory testing, documentation, and report preparation
• Good leadership, multitasking, and team management skills
• Strong communication skills to liaise with production, R&D, suppliers, and auditors
• Willing to work onsite at Sungai Bakap, Penang
