Working hours/day: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)
What you'll be doing
Preparing and managing a varied portfolio of conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers
Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties to ensure a smooth conveyancing process
Conducting property searches and due diligence to identify any issues or requirements
Drafting and reviewing legal documentation such as contracts, transfers and leases
Coordinating with the firm's finance and administrative teams to complete transactions
Providing guidance and support to more junior members of the conveyancing team including monitoring their work
Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is a plus
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in conveyancing practice
Proficient in handling sub-sale and loan documentation independently
Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively
Familiarity with banking requirements and legal
