Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Lawyer position located in Selangor, Malaysia. The Lawyer will provide legal counsel in the fields of Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Advisory services. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing regulatory advice, conducting due diligence, and collaborating with stakeholders on complex transactions. The candidate will also participate in client meetings and negotiate terms to ensure compliance with legal and business objectives.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Capital Markets
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills
  • Proficiency in legal research, compliance advisory, and understanding of regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) with relevant professional qualifications
  • Prior experience in a corporate legal environment will be an advantage
