Job Description
Responsibilities
Power BI / Microsoft Fabric Development (60%)
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models (datasets) to support business reporting and decision-making.
- Design and implement data models, relationships, measures, calculated columns, and KPIs using DAX.
- Develop and optimize Power Query (M) transformations, data preparation, and ETL processes.
- Connect and integrate data from various sources including Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, Azure services, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
- Create and maintain interactive visualizations, drill-through reports, paginated reports, and executive dashboards.
- Monitor and optimize report performance, data refresh schedules, gateway connectivity, and dataset usage.
- Support row-level security (RLS), workspace management, report deployment, and governance requirements.
- Assist in Microsoft Fabric capabilities such as Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Fabric Analytics where applicable.
- Troubleshoot reporting, data quality, refresh, and performance issues.
Power Platform Development (30%)
- Develop and maintain Power Apps (Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps) for simple to moderate business requirements.
- Develop, enhance, and support Power Automate cloud flows, desktop flows, and workflow solutions.
- Assist in configuring and maintaining Dataverse tables, relationships, forms, and views.
- Support development activities using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Dataflows, and Web Resources where required.
- Follow established development standards, governance, and best practices.
- Investigate and troubleshoot application issues with guidance when required
- Assist in performing root cause analysis and documenting findings for recurring issues.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, support guides, an knowledge base articles.
Delivery and continuous Improvement (10%)
- Proactively identify recurring issues and continuous improvement opportunities to enhance platform stability and performance.
- Copilot / AI bot knowledge is a plus, with a strong willingness to learn, adopt, and support AI‑driven conversational and automation solutions within the Power Platform
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in IT or other relevant discipline with CGPA 3.25 and above.
Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in application development, automation testing or support
Technical skills
- Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience in developing and maintaining Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets/semantic models, and data visualizations.
- Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query (M Language), and data modeling concepts.
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources such as Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, Excel, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
- Understanding of Power BI Service, workspace management, report publishing, scheduled refresh, gateway configuration, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Dataflows, Lakehouse, and Warehouse concepts is an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, AI solutions, and Microsoft Fabric.

- Able to communicate well in English.
