Lead, Business Services Capability

This position reports directly to Manager, Strategic Enablement Team (SET) and is responsible for driving business service functions improvement initiatives through automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) deployment and adoption, and other digital enablement efforts. The role focuses on identifying practical business use cases that improve efficiency, strengthen reporting capabilities, and enhance decision-making across functions.The position provides functional expertise and coordination support in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, particularly in finance-related transformation efforts, ERP utilization optimization, and data governance initiatives to support the Company's operational and business objectives. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Drive Business Service Functions Digital Initiatives
  
  

Identify, evaluate, and support the implementation of digital initiatives across business service functions to enhance operational efficiency, reporting quality, and business effectiveness. Focus on practical and scalable digital solutions that improve workflows and reduce manual processes.

• Develop Digital Use Cases
  
  

Work closely with relevant stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, AI applications, digitalization, and data visualization initiatives that improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational controls.

• Support ERP Optimization and Financial System Utilization
  
  

Support ERP utilization and enhancement initiatives, particularly related to finance modules and business integration processes. Provide functional insights and recommendations to improve system usage, reporting capabilities, and process effectiveness.

• Support Deployment and Monitoring of Initiatives
  
  

Coordinate and support the implementation, monitoring, and follow-up of strategic digital initiatives to ensure timely delivery and successful adoption across the organization.

• Strengthen Data Governance and Reporting Quality
  
  

For digital solutions involving data, identify data quality, governance, and reporting gaps in order to support the establishment of improved data and reporting governance.

• Support Business Insights and Decision-Making
  
  

Assist in developing dashboards, reports, and analytical insights to support management decision-making, operational visibility, and business performance monitoring.

• Collaborate Across Functions and Stakeholders
  
  

Work collaboratively with Finance, Human Capital, Supply Chain, IT, and other functions to ensure alignment, smooth implementation, and effective adoption of business enablement initiatives.

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practices, supporting capability development, and encouraging practical innovation within the organization. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualification and Education:
• Possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Management, or equivalent qualification from recognized universities.
• A master's degree or professional certification in business improvement, digital transformation, project management, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
• Work Experience:
• At least 15 years experience in the oil and gas industry, business transformation, strategic initiatives, operational excellence, digitalization, or related functions.
• Experience in finance, accounting, financial operations in an upstream oil and gas operations, ERP implementation or optimization, automation initiatives, and cross-functional project management would be an added advantage.
• Skills and Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, controls, and reporting practices.
• Familiarity with ERP financial systems and finance-related modules.
• Knowledgeable in process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with data analytics, dashboard reporting, and business intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good understanding of data governance and reporting quality principles.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business functions.
• Good project coordination and implementation skills.
• Understanding of upstream oil and gas business operations and support functions would be an added advantage. Good understanding of upstream oil and gas business operations and workflows.
• Training and Certification:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training would be an added advantage.
• Professional certification in Accounting or Finance such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA would be an added advantage.
• Training or certification in ERP systems, particularly SUN System, SAP or equivalent enterprise systems.
• Training in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Automation, or Digital Transformation tools would be an added advantage.
• Project management or process improvement training would be beneficial.
• HSSE-related training and compliance programs as required by the Company.
