Job Description
Our client is a global manufacturer of mission-critical power, cooling, and modular infrastructure systems is hiring a Lead Engineer to coordinate electrical, mechanical, controls, and CAD engineering teams within a factory environment producing prefabricated infrastructure modules.
What you'll do
- Resolve technical clashes early (cable routing, structural capacity, battery clearances, busbar interfaces, PLC/SCADA points).
- Lead cross-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver accurate for-construction drawing packages (single-line diagrams, general arrangement layouts, wiring schematics, HVAC layouts, grounding, and network architecture).
- Allocate engineering resources against build milestones and factory throughput targets.
- Review and validate sequence-of-operations documentation for power, cooling, and controls systems against solution architecture and factory integration constraints.
- Coach and mentor electrical, mechanical, and controls engineers.
- Oversee commissioning documentation — factory acceptance test scripts, test procedures, load-bank plans, protection coordination files.
- Run build-readiness reviews with production, quality, HSE, and supply chain to confirm materials, drawings, and procedures are released before production start.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years in a lead engineer role, factory operations, or manufacturing of electrical/mechanical assemblies.
- Experience with prefabricated/modular equipment, power distribution units, or related industrial systems is a plus.
