Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Penang for a Lead Engineer - Physical Design. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading physical design activities, overseeing physical verification processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on logic and circuit design. Responsibilities include RTL design analysis, implementation of physical designs, ensuring compliance with guidelines during physical verification, and resolving any design-related challenges. The Lead Engineer will also support design reviews, provide technical guidance to the team, and contribute to the success of high-technology engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Physical Design and Physical Verification processes
• Proficient knowledge of Logic Design and Circuit Design
• Demonstrated skill in RTL Design and analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities in the engineering design domain
• Effective communication and leadership skills to guide a technical team
• Proficiency in relevant design tools and methodologies is required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with semiconductor design projects, particularly in the hi-tech sector, is a strong advantage
