Our client is a leading American brand name in the field of consumer electronics, with more than 100 years in existence and more than 2,000 employees globally. We are representing the Singapore Research& Development (R&D) team to hire for their new headcount for the Motor Advanced Development team team.
Lead / Senior Engineer, Power Electronics
Responsibilities
. Lead the research, evaluation and development of new power electronics technologies and design solutions from concept through product readiness.
. Design, simulate, prototype and validate power electronic circuits and systems, ensuring performance, reliability and manufacturability.
. Collaborate withcross-functional teams and external partners to assess technical feasibility, cost, risks and implementation plans.
. Support product development teams in integrating new technologies into commercial products while ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
. Drive technical innovation by building organizational knowledge, presenting data-drivenrecommendations and contributing to future technology roadmaps.
Requirements
. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline with at least 10 years of product development experience.
. Strong hands-on expertise in power electronics design, including circuit analysis, simulation, PCB design, power semiconductors and thermal management.
. Experience using simulation and design tools such as LTSpice, SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, Altium, Mentor Graphics or equivalent.
. Solid understanding of EMC/EMI compliance, design verification, and product development from concept through production.
. Experience in Battery Management Systems (BMS) or Motor Drive Systems (BLDC, PMDC or AC motors), withknowledge of AC-DC/DC-DC conversion and battery charging technologies considered advantageous.
