Lead / Senior Network Automation Engineer – Cisco SD-WAN & Python

We are looking for a Senior/Lead Network Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cisco networking, SD-WAN and Python automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, optimize and troubleshoot Cisco SD-WAN / Viptela environments.
• Work on BGP, OSPF, MPLS and L3VPN across enterprise and service-provider networks.
• Develop Python-based automation for network configuration, testing and operations.
• Handle complex troubleshooting, RCA and technical issues.
• Translate client requirements into network and automation solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to network engineers.
• Participate in client discussions, technical reviews and solution design.
• Maintain code/configuration using Git and manage activities through Jira.

Must-Have Skills:

• 6–10 years of networking experience
• Strong Cisco IOS & Routing/Switching
• Hands-on Cisco SD-WAN / Viptela
• Strong BGP, OSPF, MPLS & L3VPN
• Hands-on Python for Network Automation
• Network Architecture / Design
• Senior Engineer / Lead / SME / Architect experience
• Client-facing and stakeholder-management skills
• CCNA & CCNP

Good to Have:

Cisco NSO/YANG, Spirent TestCenter, Nokia Nuage, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD, VMware ESXi and CCIE/equivalent.
