Job Description

About the role

Lead the Learning & Development strategy to strengthen employee capabilities, develop talent and leadership pipelines, and support business growth within a pharmaceutical company.

Location: Based in Subang or Melaka

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the L&D strategy and annual training plan.
  • Lead Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and competency gap assessments.
  • Develop and maintain the competency framework.
  • Drive talent, career and succession development initiatives.
  • Design and implement leadership and management development programmes.
  • Monitor training effectiveness, learning outcomes and L&D analytics.
  • Manage L&D budget, HRD Corp matters and training vendors.
  • Promote digital learning and innovative development solutions.
  • Lead the L&D team and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support Organisation Development and employee engagement initiatives.

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, Education, Psychology or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years L&D experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong experience in L&D strategy, TNA, competency development, talent and succession planning.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation and leadership skills.
  • Strategic, analytical and results-oriented.
  • Good knowledge of HRD Corp requirements.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry is an advantage.
  • Train-the-Trainer (TTT) certification is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of GMP/ISO and compliance training is an added advantage.
