Job Description

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Learning & Training Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and delivery of our corporate training business.
This is not a conventional internal L&D role. It is a hands-on management position within a training provider environment, combining operations leadership, people management, HRD Corp processes, client coordination and programme delivery.
The successful candidate will take ownership of multiple training projects simultaneously and ensure that programmes move smoothly from confirmation through preparation, delivery, documentation and closure.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of corporate training programmes.
- Manage and guide the internal team, including work allocation, priorities, deadlines, performance and accountability.
- Oversee programmes from client confirmation through scheduling, trainer coordination, logistics, delivery and post-programme closure.
- Manage HRD Corp requirements and processes, ensuring documentation, submissions and programme requirements are completed accurately and within required timelines.
- Coordinate trainers, facilitators, venues, materials, assessments and other programme resources.
- Work directly with clients to understand requirements, resolve operational matters and ensure a high standard of service.
- Manage multiple programmes and client requirements concurrently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Review programme costing, trainer requirements and operational resources to support commercially sustainable programme delivery.
- Support the development and improvement of training solutions together with trainers and subject matter experts.
- Monitor participant feedback, programme quality and client satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify operational risks, resolve issues quickly and escalate critical matters when required.
- Establish and improve internal processes, workflows and standards to strengthen operational efficiency.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in corporate training, training operations, learning operations or a related environment.
- At least 2–3 years of experience leading or supervising a team.
- Strong preference for candidates who have worked with an HRD Corp registered training provider, corporate training company, training academy or professional learning organisation.
- Practical, hands-on knowledge of HRD Corp processes, documentation and requirements is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple training programmes, clients, trainers and operational deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong people leadership skills with the confidence to delegate, follow up, make decisions and hold team members accountable.
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong planning, organisation, problem-solving and project management capabilities.
- Commercial awareness, including an understanding of programme costing, trainer fees, resources and delivery requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Management or a related discipline is preferred.
- Professional training, HRD Corp, project management or L&D certifications are an added advantage.
