Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure leasing prospects, including through canvassing, cold calling, and market outreach initiatives.
  2. Lead the tenant acquisition process, including evaluating and shortlisting prospective residential and retail tenants, and independently negotiating and finalizing rental and commercial terms in alignment with company objectives.
  3. Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of tenancy agreements and all documentation related to lease transactions; maintain up-to-date management reports for leasing activities.
  4. Compile and submit weekly leasing activity reports, providing clear status updates and analysis of negotiations with potential tenants.
  5. Conduct in-depth market trend analyses and translate findings into actionable strategies to enhance leasing performance and property positioning.
  6. Perform ongoing research on comparable properties, maintaining current knowledge of residential and retail market developments to inform decision-making.
  7. Build and maintain strong tenant relationships, acting as the key liaison to support tenant satisfaction, retention, and issue resolution.
  8. Develop and implement tenant mix strategies for residential, retail, and industrial properties to optimize occupancy and rental returns.
  9. Stay well-informed of market dynamics and competitor activity, providing regular insights and recommendations to management.
  10. Any other duties as assigned by the Management.

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:

  1. Possess a tertiary qualification with 5 years experience in similar capacity. An added advantage if candidates Estate Management, Business Studies or Marketing equivalent qualification.
  2. Has strong retail contacts and good networking within the residential, retail & industrial market.
  3. Good interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  4. Able to prioritize multiple projects and consistently work within tight deadlines.
  5. Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  6. Familiar with documents such as tenancy agreements & architectural plans.
  7. Meticulous, efficient and good in time management & multi-tasking.
