Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid Lecturer/Instructor position based in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for selected responsibilities to be completed remotely.

We are currently seeking lecturers or instructors in the following areas:

• Event Management

• Business Administration

• Piano

• Music Performance

• Music Management

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons, workshops, and practical learning activities

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, learning outcomes, and assessments

• Conduct classes, rehearsals, tutorials, or project-based sessions

• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback and mentorship

• Ensure teaching content remains relevant to current academic and industry practices

• Collaborate with educators and production staff on showcases, live events, performances, and media initiatives

• Contribute to curriculum development and propose new programmes or learning experiences

• Maintain an inclusive, supportive, and professional learning environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Music, Performing Arts, Event Management, Business Administration, Education, or another relevant discipline

• Piano applicants must possess at least a recognized Grade 8 qualification or equivalent

• Strong subject-matter expertise with the ability to teach both practical and theoretical concepts

• Relevant teaching, coaching, training, or mentoring experience

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to develop structured lesson plans, learning outcomes, and assessments

• Comfortable conducting on-site sessions in Cheras and managing selected responsibilities remotely

• Professional, responsible, and committed to learner development

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous lecturing or teaching experience in a college, academy, training centre, or industry-based learning environment

• Relevant professional or industry certifications

• Experience in live events, performance, recording, media production, entrepreneurship, or business operations

• An industry portfolio or evidence of professional practice
