REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare (Nursing, Allied Health, or related field).

• Valid professional license/registration (nursing, allied health, etc.).

• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching or clinical instruction experience.

• Strong knowledge of clinical protocols, patient safety, and healthcare standards.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in diverse clinical and academic settings.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Healthcare, Education, or a related field.

• Teaching certification or clinical instructor training.

• Experience with curriculum development and assessment.

• Knowledge of the latest healthcare practices and technologies.

• Experience with e-learning platforms and blended learning approaches.

Job Descriptions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lecture Delivery & Teaching

• Deliver engaging and evidence-based lectures in accordance with course curricula and healthcare standards.

• Facilitate classroom discussions and interactive learning sessions.

• Maintain professional standards in teaching methodology and student engagement.

Clinical Supervision & Training

• Provide direct clinical supervision to students during hospital/clinical placements.

• Assess clinical competency and provide constructive feedback to students.

• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, protocols, and patient safety guidelines.

• Mentor and guide students in professional practice and ethical conduct.

Assessment & Student Development

• Develop and administer clinical and theoretical assessments.

• Evaluate student performance and provide detailed progress reports.

• Identify and support students requiring additional assistance.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, clinical hours, and competency achievement.

Course Development & Curriculum

• Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and clinical protocols.

• Ensure curriculum alignment with professional standards and best practices.

• Participate in curriculum review and continuous improvement initiatives.

Professional & Administrative Duties

• Build and maintain relationships with clinical partners and healthcare facilities.

• Coordinate clinical placements and liaise with hospital staff.

• Contribute to departmental initiatives and professional development.

• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and conferences.
