Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning
• To prepare undergraduate lesson plans, schemes of work, tutorials, assignments and class discussions.
• To supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in research activities and grant-related projects.
• To utilise the learning management system to maximise student learning.
• To prepare test and examination questions, together with appropriate marking schemes, in a timely manner.
• To prepare and update the portfolio for each course taught.
Research
• To undertake and contribute to research, either individually or collaboratively.
• To conduct individual or collaborative scholarly projects.
• To engage in knowledge generation, knowledge exchange and knowledge transfer activities.
• To identify sources of funding and contribute to securing funds for own research or scholarly projects.
Administration and other activities
• To be responsible for quality assurance, audit and other external assessment activities within own areas of responsibility.
• To participate in programme accreditation processes.
• To ensure that operational processes, such as timetabling, assessment and examinations, are effectively managed.
• To undertake administrative responsibilities as required from time to time.
Requirements:
• Possess at least a Master's Degree in Pharmacy majoring in Clinical Pharmacy/ Pharmaceutical Technology/ Biotechnology and with a Basic Degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience.
• Good presentation skills with strong command in written and spoken English.
• Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia or the relevant regulatory authority in the country of origin.
• Those with relevant experience in tertiary education would be an added advantage.
