Role Description The Legal Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents, and assisting in the preparation of case strategies across the firm's core practice areas. The Legal Associate will support senior lawyers in litigation, arbitration, and mediation matters, attend court and client meetings as required, and help manage case files and documentation. The position also includes advising on legal issues under supervision, monitoring relevant legislative and regulatory developments, and contributing to internal knowledge-sharing within the firm.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law with the ability to identify, interpret, and apply legal principles to a range of legal issues.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, pleadings, and advisory documents.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to assess complex fact patterns, evaluate risks, and support case strategy and legal opinions.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear client communication, court submissions, and internal collaboration.
- Relevant academic qualifications, preferably a recognized law degree and admission to practice (or eligibility for admission) in Malaysia.
- Attention to detail, professional integrity, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior exposure or interest in litigation, dispute resolution, or any of the firm's core practice areas is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues on-site in Kuala Lumpur and maintain a client-focused, solutions-oriented approach.
