What you'll be doing
- Preparing and managing a varied portfolio of conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties to ensure a smooth conveyancing process
- Conducting property searches and due diligence to identify any issues or requirements
- Drafting and reviewing legal documentation such as contracts, transfers and leases
- Coordinating with the firm's finance and administrative teams to complete transactions
- Providing guidance and support to more junior members of the conveyancing team including monitoring their work
- Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatoryrequireme
What we're looking for
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is a plus
- Minimum 24 years of experience in conveyancing practice
- Proficient in handling sub-sale and loan documentation independently
- Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively
- Familiarity with banking requirements and legal portalsisanadvantage
