Legal Counsel - New Law Provider

We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Corporate M&A Associate/Senior Associate to join the in-house legal team of a dynamic, Singapore-based New Law provider.

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious Legal Counsel to join a tech-enabled, entrepreneurial team driving transformation in the legal industry. You'll play a critical role advising on legal matters, being part of key internal projects, and fostering growth.

This role would suit an individual who:

• Wants to work alongside the founder and CEO to help grow the business to the next level.
• Has a strong work ethic and ambitious mindset - you'll be willing to go above and beyond, and rewarded with excellent progression opportunities.

The selected candidate will be based remotely in Malaysia, though there may also be an opportunity for international relocation further down the line.

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 4 years post-qualification experience at an international or leading local law firm.
• Qualification in Malaysia or another commonwealth jurisdiction.
• Proven experience within either a corporate commercial environment or an M&A environment.
• Excellent communication and client-management skills, and the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders.
