Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (e.g., procurement, sales, JV) in line with Malaysian law and company policies.
• Manage contract lifecycle, including risk assessment and enforcement.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian laws (Companies Act, PDPA, Employment Act) and international standards.
• Develop and implement anti-bribery, anti-corruption (MACC Act), and data privacy policies.
• Handle disputes, litigation, and regulatory investigations with external counsel.
• Advise on corporate governance, ensuring compliance with SSM requirements; maintain statutory records and filings.
• Support legal aspects of M&A, due diligence, and regulatory approvals.

Requirements:

• LL.B. and admission to the Malaysian Bar.
• 810 years legal experience in corporate, law firm, or multinational environment.
• Strong expertise in Malaysian and international commercial law, contracts, compliance, and governance.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
