Legal Officer

Job Responsibilities/Requirement

• Provide legal advice on contracts, IP, regulatory compliance and litigation. Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements. Advise management on legal risks and corporate governance. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Develop and implement legal policies and procedures. Manage legal and litigation matters.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent. Minimum 10 years legal experience in law firm and/or in-house. High-tech/semiconductor industry experience preferred. Strong cross-border legal experience, including multi-country laws. Experience in M&A and corporate restructuring. Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial and regulatory law. Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills. Admission/eligibility to practise law in Sarawak is an added advantage.
