Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Contract and Legal Documentation

  • Draft, review, and negotiate specialized agreement with particular focus on AIenabled and cloudbased contractual documentation, including SaaS arrangements, cloud migration, hosting agreements, cybersecurity frameworks, and intellectual property rights agreements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as consultancy agreements for system implementation, blueprint and framework development; service level agreements outlining performance standards for internal systems, support services, mechanical & electrical (M&E) maintenance and security services; subscriptionbased agreements for data, analytics and software services; and tenancy or lease based agreement for buildings and properties related to EPF.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation and correspondence, including ancillary contractual instruments such as non-disclosure agreement, side letters, supplementary documentation and escrow agreements.

Legal Advisory & Support

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice on contractual matters and legal documentation including drafting considerations, interpretation on contractual terms, identification and mitigation of legal risks, compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
  • Provide legal advice on trademark matters, including trademark availability searches, registration, use, protection, enforcement, and portfolio management in accordance with applicable laws and organizational objectives.
  • Conduct research and provide legal analysis on laws relevant to the scope such as contract law, land law and intellectual property law.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate regulatory consultation including attending meetings, engagements or discussion with working groups and relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct legal training and provide legal awareness for internal and external stakeholders including preparing training materials

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Obtain at least a credit in Malay Language and English including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent as recognized by theGovernment
  • Possess a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) (LLB) or equivalent LLB qualifications from any local or overseas higher learning institutions recognised by the Government of Malaysia
  • Have at least 3 to 10 years experience in the relevant job description set out above
  • Candidates with expertise and experience in the relevant job description set out herein, is an added advantage
  • Good communication and presentation skills with excellent command of oral and writing in English and Bahasa Melayu
  • Highly motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Able to work independently and as part of/in a team and committed to work under tight deadline
  • Meticulous and attention to details
