Licensing Officer

Recording Performers Malaysia Berhad (RPM) is Malaysias Collective Management Organization (CMO) that upholds the rights of recording performers. Incorporated as a non-profit company in 2011, RPM ensures that music makers are fairly compensated for their contributions to the music industry. Our mission is to honor the creative efforts of performers by managing and protecting their performance rights.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensing Officer based in Mont Kiara. The Licensing Officer will be responsible for managing the licensing of performance rights, negotiating licensing agreements, ensuring compliance with licensing terms, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with licensees, handling inquiries, and providing support to the licensing process.

• Experience in contract negotiation and management, particularly in music or entertainment industries
• Knowledge of performance rights and intellectual property law
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelors degree in Business, Law, or related field
• Prior experience in collective management organizations or licensing is a plus
