Description
We are seeking a skilled Linux/Middleware Engineer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux administration and middleware technologies, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems and middleware applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux systems and middleware services.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance on Linux environments.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary.
- Automate system deployment and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Provide support for middleware technologies such as Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, or similar.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-9 years of experience in Linux system administration or middleware engineering.
- Proficient in shell scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation tasks.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and security practices in Linux environments.
- Experience with middleware technologies and frameworks (e.g., JBoss, WebLogic, etc.).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their Linux offerings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
