Linux/UNIX System Admin/ Infra Security Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Linux/UNIX system administration with a focus on security.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), SUSE, CentOS, Solaris, and AIX.
• Proven experience in security hardening, vulnerability assessment, and compliance enforcement.
• Familiarity with security tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7) and enterprise monitoring solutions.
• Proficiency in Bash/Python scripting for automation and system management.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, NFS) and firewall/security configurations.
• Experience with backup/recovery tools (e.g., NetBackup, Veeam, Backup Exec).
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Relevant certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
