Job Title: Game Localization Linguist (English-Bahasa Indonesia)

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and enhance AI-assisted translations by leveraging approved terminology, localization guidelines, and Indonesian linguistic conventions to ensure the content reads naturally and accurately reflects local language usage.
- Conduct cultural and compliance reviews to identify and address potential political, religious, legal, or culturally sensitive issues, ensuring all localized content aligns with the expectations and regulations of the target market.
- Perform in-game (MOBA products) linguistic testing and proofreading within game builds to detect translation errors, context inconsistencies, text display issues, and UI-related localization concerns. Collaborate with relevant teams to improve the overall player experience.
- Maintain and update localization resources, including glossaries, terminology databases, translation memories, style guides, and language standards to support translation consistency and quality.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia), with full professional fluency (speak, read, write) in English.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian culture, social trends, and entertainment preferences, with the ability to adapt game content to resonate effectively with local players.
- Hands-on experience editing machine-translated content and prior experience in game localization is essential.
- Familiar with translation management tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, Memsource) and localization workflows.
- Experience in linguistic testing or in-game proofreading is highly preferred, while exposure to large-scale FPS titles will be considered an added advantage.
