Job Description

About The Role

You will manage end‑to‑end logistics activities for semiconductor backend equipment, upgrade kit and spare part; coordinating closely with freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure timely pick‑up, shipment, and delivery according to agreed Incoterms. The role also ensures compliance with import and export procedures through collaboration with local authorities and relevant stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders on machine pick‑up, freight planning, shipment booking, and delivery to customers based on agreed Incoterms.
  • Prepare and manage all logistics documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, COO certificates, and shipping instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, working closely with Malaysian customs, government authorities, and relevant international agencies.
  • Handle special regulatory requirements for shipments to US, including COO validation, HTS classification, and documentation accuracy.
  • Track shipment status proactively and communicate updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Work closely with forwarders to develop mitigation plans against global logistics disruptions—such as Middle East tensions with airspace constraints, flight over‑booking, and rerouting—to prevent shipment delays.
  • Resolve logistics issues, clearance challenges, and document discrepancies in collaboration with forwarders and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate logistics records, shipment databases, and audit‑ready documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement in logistics processes, lead‑time reduction, and cost optimization initiatives.

What You Will Need

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in machinery or semiconductor equipment industries.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and import/export procedures.
  • Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies.
  • Familiarity with documentation requirements such as COO, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Detail‑oriented, responsible, and able to manage time‑critical shipments with urgency.
