Role Description The Logistics Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur. The role is responsible for coordinating daily inbound and outbound shipments, preparing delivery schedules, and ensuring accurate documentation for domestic and export movements. The Logistics Administrator will monitor inventory levels, support warehouse operations, and liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. This position also involves tracking orders, resolving logistics issues, and updating internal systems to maintain accurate records. The role works closely with sales, customer service, and operations teams to support smooth order fulfillment and efficient supply chain activities.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, logistics partners, and customers.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management, including shipment planning, inventory coordination, and process optimization.
- Experience handling Export procedures, documentation, and regulations is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities.
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Excel, Word) and familiarity with logistics or inventory systems is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or related administrative roles is beneficial; exposure to furniture or retail industries is a plus.
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
