About the Job

Looking for a Logistics Manager who is responsible for managing the efficient movement, distribution, and storage of materials, while overseeing transportation, shipments, warehouse processes, and inventory.

This role will monitor operational costs and budgets, and implements improvements to enhance efficiency, minimize delays, and ensure timely delivery.

Working location: Kulai, Johor

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage carrier selection, transportation contracts, rates, and service agreements to ensure reliable and cost-effective delivery.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Oversee daily logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service operations to maintain smooth and efficient workflows.
• Coordinate warehouse activities, including labeling, shipment processing, route planning, storage, and proper handling of goods.
• Resolve logistics issues, delivery delays, and customer complaints promptly to maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor logistics budgets, costs, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and optimize operational efficiency.
• Ensure all logistics and warehouse activities comply with relevant regulations, safety requirements, and ISO standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of the consumer goods industry and its logistics and distribution practices.
• Proficient in logistics, inventory management, and supply chain management systems/software.
• Good understanding of supply chain processes, inventory control, distribution strategies, and business management principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
