UCT is looking for a talented Logistics Assistant III to join us in Malaysia!
The Logistics Assistant III ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitates efficient import processes to support site operations. This role manages customs documentation, classification of goods, and exemption applications while maintaining adherence to HTS, ECCN, and LMW regulations. It serves as a key liaison with government agencies and ensures accurate reporting, contributing to seamless logistics and regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
UCT is looking for a talented Logistics Assistant III to join us in Malaysia!
The Logistics Assistant III ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitates efficient import processes to support site operations. This role manages customs documentation, classification of goods, and exemption applications while maintaining adherence to HTS, ECCN, and LMW regulations. It serves as a key liaison with government agencies and ensures accurate reporting, contributing to seamless logistics and regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- LMW Regulation & Act.
- Review Harmonized System (HTS) & Export Control Classification Number (ECCN).
- Submit M1, M2, & M4 – Monthly Report.
- Review K1 & K2 compliance details.
- Exemption application for all incoming spare parts requirement for the site.
- Responsible and handling import transaction.
- Dealing with Customs, MIDA, MITI & MOF.
- Dangerous Goods knowledge classification.
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics or equivalent
- Preferably 2 to 4 years experiences of similar working experience.
- Computer literate: Word/Excel/Power Point.
