1.0 PURPOSE
- Logistics Executive is responsible for end-to-end coordination of logistics and supply chain activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. This role involves managing documentation for shipping, customs, and regulatory processes, including LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) reporting, duty drawback claims, and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) compliance. The position requires proficiency in SAP system management, inventory control, and collaboration with internal departments to maintain smooth operations.
2.0 RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to transportation, customs, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Documentation Handling: Process and verify logistics documents including invoices, bill of lading, delivery orders, and customs forms
- Shipping Documentation: Prepare shipping instructions, packing lists, and custom invoices for warehouse and forwarders.
- Customs Documentation: Manage K1/K2 forms, permits, LOI/A, and other customs documents.
- Certificate of Origin (COO): Prepare and ensure COO compliance under FTAs and liaise with MITI for application and endorsement.
- LMW Shipment Control: Track LMW import/export activities with correct documentation and HS code usage, particularly when goods are exported or transferred between different manufacturing stages.
- Waste Management: Monitor and manage LMW waste in line with compliance requirements.
2.Compliance & Documentation
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure logistics activities follow local laws and company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate shipment, invoice, and customs records.
- Customs Coordination: Liaise with authorities and ensure proper import/export documents.
- LMW Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on raw materials and finished goods.
- Duty Drawback: Process duty drawback claims for export shipments.
- FTA Compliance: Stay updated on Free Trade Agreement rules and requirements between the country of origin and the destination country.
3.Process Improvement & Cost Optimization
- Process Improvement & Cost Savings: Identify and implement improvements in logistics, inventory, and LMW processes through data analysis and support cost-saving initiatives.
3.0 Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years experience in LMW, FTA, warehouse operation, inventory control, or logistics.
- Proficiency in SAP for warehouse and inventory management.
- Familiarity with logistics operations, freight management, and customs clearance procedures.
- Knowledge with duty drawback and SST application.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Malaysian logistics regulations and customs procedures.
- Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a LMW working environment.
- Good knowledge to apply PCO (Preferential Certificate of origin) and liaise with MITI industry.
