Logistics Executive

Job Description

The main function of the job covers:-

1) Planning, implementing, and managing the overall supply chain strategy.

2) Collaborating with suppliers, LSPs to optimize processes.

3) Identifying and mitigating potential disruptions in the supply chain.

4) Selecting and managing transportation providers (carriers, freight forwarders, etc.).

5) Negotiating transportation rates and contracts.

6) Optimizing shipping routes and schedules to meet the agreed lead time

7) Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.

8) Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., customs, import/export laws, safety regulations).

9) Identifying opportunities to reduce logistics costs and improve efficiency.

10) Analyzing logistics data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

11) Developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives with collaboration with GS and PUR

12) Conducting LSP performance reviews - collaboration with GS

13) Implementing practices to reduce the environmental impact of logistics operations (e.g., optimizing transportation routes to reduce fuel consumption, using sustainable packaging materials).

Freight & Transportation

1) Logistics Expert on transportation and freight

2) To provide the best solution as per LSP contractual lane

3) Plant PIC for any freight related topic

4) Leading the LOG team to manage and control the logistic cost

5) To collaborate with GS on LSP kpi and performance

6) iSTAR key user for cost monitoring approval

7) Key contact person for tendering process (LSP)

8) Managing and monitoring LSP performance

Project / Relocation

1) Leading the transportation topic especially on-air freight sourcing (air /sea/land)

2) To advice the best solution on logistics and transportation best solution

3) To support on PO issuance

4) Plant PIC for any related logistics topic

Customs / Compliance

1) To ensure the exemption list is up to date

2) To apply any new exemption or special request

3) To comply any regulation and advise the best solution for any related to import/export

4) Responsible for any customs related topic (license renewable, special application etc)

5) To advise on CoO or any trades compliance (FTA etc)

Indirect Packaging (LOD)

1) Working together with PUI and LOD team in Germany for any packaging improvement

2) To improve packaging quality with collaboration with supplier

Qualifications

Masters or Degree in Logistics and Management study.
