- Ensure high customer satisfaction through efficient dispatching, accurate receiving, and consistent product quality.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned department to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
- Monitor performance metrics regularly to meet or exceed customer KPIs and internal quality standards; provide timely updates to management.
- Maintain close communication with customers to understand their needs and ensure all requirements are met effectively.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating current processes and implementing enhancements.
- Prepare and submit departmental reports promptly, as required by both management and customers.
- Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, material handling, transportation, and workforce planning.
- Supervise the movement, distribution, and storage of goods to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Oversee the flow of inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and timeliness.
- Set clear performance expectations for team members and provide ongoing training and support.
- Maintain accurate records and accountability for all department tools and equipment.
- Ensure that work areas are organized, ergonomic, and compliant with safety standards.
- Verify that packed goods are correctly inspected and promptly collected by drivers.
- Enforce proper storage practices and maintain high housekeeping standards across the warehouse.
- Monitor and update inventory levels while ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Coordinate logistics workflows, including shipment scheduling and delivery arrangements.
- Conduct root cause analysis to minimize overages, shortages, and damages during shipment handling.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to identify opportunities for improving processes, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and sanitation protocols within the workplace.
- Generate and monitor Handling Line reports to support operational planning and decision-making.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall operations.
Requirements & Responsibilities
- Possess at least STPM or a Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations.
- Proficient in SAP, NGW systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Well-versed in customs declaration procedures for both inbound and outbound shipments.
- Demonstrate a positive work ethic, strong sense of accountability, and commitment to operational excellence.
- Able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high performance standards.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with both management and operational staff.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks, working independently, and achieving objectives with minimal supervision.
