Your Role
Responsible to plan and coordinate daily transport operations, optimize truck utilization, and manage 3PL vendors. Monitor schedules, urgent jobs, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Maintain systems, documentation, and cost verification. Support incident handling, risk identification, team backup, and ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant logistics operations.

Monitor schedules, urgent jobs, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Maintain systems, documentation, and cost verification. Support incident handling, risk identification, team backup, and ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily 3rd party transport operations (prime movers, isotanks, road tankers, package trucks) including terminal booking time slot if needed.
- Optimize dedicated truck utilization to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with operation, procurement and customer service teams on delivery and collection schedules.
- Monitor urgent/last-minute activations and highlight deviations from standard lead time.
- Monitor 3rd party & dedicated truck driver compliance (e.g. HazMat requirements).

- Liaise with approved transporters, 3PL yards and service providers (e.g. tank cleaning, storage, lifting).
- Track and verify 3PL job execution, charges and service performance.
- Update systems (e.g. SAP, TMS, Excel trackers) for job records, movements and reporting.
- Maintain proper filing of SOPs, work instructions, and operational records
- Ensure all transport activities comply with regulatory requirements (Ministry of Transport, Fire and Rescue Department, Department of Environment, Port Requirements)
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics planning, transport coordination or related operations
- Experience in chemical logistics or DG handling is an advantage
- Familiar with SAP, TMS, or similar logistics systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data tracking
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams, drivers, and vendors
